Harvey County sheriff’s authorities said Logsdon was driving a mini-van west on First Street, and Hett was driving east. Hett, 65, of Marion was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Logsdon, 36, of Elbing, photographer for the Newton newspaper for the past five years, was taken to a Wichita hospital, where he died.
